Objectives and Purposes (Vision)
TOTBİD aims to be an organization which gathers all the orthopedics and traumatology specialists working in Turkey under the same roof without any exceptions; taking the lead in terms of generating modern knowledge and the products of which are followed with interest by the medical communities of the whole world; which does not only develop protective reflexes but also undertakes a determining role by accepting responsibilities on member related topics; offering solutions for issues related to public health and leads relevant applications.
Duties and Responsibilities (Mission)
TOTBİD is a civil society organization which prepares the necessary conditions for scientific information exchange between orthopedics and traumatology specialists working in Turkey and makes encouraging works on this issue; taking the lead for protecting and glorifying the reputation of the profession; making the necessary efforts for protection of its members’ rights and also not avoiding from making its self-check mechanisms work for solving out the negativities.
