The aim of this seminar is to give delegates a unique opportunity to enter into a debate on how motion analysis solutions from sport science could translate into valuable lessons for motion analysis in a clinical setting, and vice versa. In a rapidly changing field, sport scientists constantly need to find a pragmatic middle ground between generalized explorations versus individualized solutions, comprehensive analysis versus targeted consultation, and standardized lab testing versus adaptive field based observations. Thought provoking perspectives on the different roles that motion analysis can have between sport science and clinic will form the basis for discussions and debate, and for a careful look into the future of both disciplines.
