We are pleased to warmly invite you to the UEMS Autumn Council Meeting 2026, which will take place in Brussels at M.A.I. – Maison des Associations Internationales:

Dates: 16–17 October 2026
Join us for two days of engaging discussions, strategic collaboration, and meaningful exchange with colleagues from across the specialist medical community. On this occasion, the UEMS Council will be held exclusively onsite, without any hybrid component.
1.Please register HERE and indicate whether you will be accompanied. Your registration is mandatory to ensure your participation. Once your registration is confirmed through the system, you will receive a QR code.

3. The Draft Schedule of the Council is attached and is also available online. Times are subject to change.
4. We invite our National Medical Associations to submit their Activity Reports, as well as our UEMS Bodies to provide their respective Body Reports by Wednesday, September 30th. Please note that only reports submitted on time, using the attached templates and in Word document format, will be published on the UEMS Council webpage.
5. Proxy– if your National Medical Association or Section cannot be represented during the Council meetings, please find attached the template proxy NMAs to use for the NMAs regarding the Advisory Committee (previously known as the Board Meeting) and Council meetings ; enclosed you will also find the Template proxy AB for the Sections and Boards in view of the Advisory Board meeting. Please ensure that both parties sign the proxy form.
Kindly note that a National Medical Association or a UEMS Section can receive only one proxy.
6. ETRs: the general review period has concluded this morning. ETR authors will have one month to revise and finalise their drafts, taking into account all comments received. The final ETR drafts are expected to be published on the official Council webpage by 15 September for consultation, one month ahead of the Council meeting.
7. The draft agendas and supporting documents have been partly published, with the remaining documents to be published in due course. Please ensure to check the Council page periodically for s.
8. Gala Evening Dinner: We are delighted to invite you to join us for the Gala Evening Dinner on Friday evening, hosted at Restaurant 91 at the Thon Hotel Bristol Stéphanie.
